Age has no boundary when learning new skills while demonstrating the ability to be a safe road user. Just because you have been driving for many years, doesn’t necessarily mean you are a safe driver.

Our lives are consumed with poor time management, juggling family life, rushing from place to place and the general survival of day to day commitments.

Have you ever stopped to think, how did I get from home to work today? How did I get from school pick up to the shops?

Frightening – I know right!!! I’m the first to put my hand up as a parent during the busy years of balancing school drop offs and pickups, work, family life etc… Often, I would question myself on my ability to think clearly behind the wheel when feeling pressured by life’s expectations. However, my courage to invest in a refresher lesson happened in my 30’s.

It is important to take the time to refresh your road safety skills no matter what age. If you use the roads, you have a responsibility to keep yourself & everyone around you safe. What’s stopping you from challenging yourself with a refresher lesson?

Is it because we believe that we are all experts when it comes to driving on our roads? “How dare anyone question my ability, I’ve been driving for years…”

This was a question one of our mature drivers asked themselves when booking a refresher lesson with driv’n 2 Success.

Bernadette presented to us with over 30 years of driving experience. However, Bernadette had herself believe that she would never have the courage to drive in Melbourne. After a conversation with our driver trainers, Bernadette knew that the impossible was very possible,   and her journey towards being a confident road user commenced.
